Position Summary

The Program Manager,Mental Health Program is responsible for working collaboratively with the Director and Medical Director to provide leadership congruent with the Vision, Mission, Values and strategic objectives of the organization. The Program Manager is an innovative and highly motivated individual who provides leadership and fosters partnerships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting safe, effective, evidence-based and quality outcomes. The Program Manager is responsible for the Mental Health Services departmental planning, evaluation, budget development, resource allocation, utilization management, safety and risk management

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration or applicable professional license required.
• Baccalaureate degree in a Regulated Health Care profession, Health, Health Administration or related field is required.
• Masters degree in a Regulated Health Care profession preferred.
• Additional management/leadership courses would be an asset.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related clinical experience is required.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible leadership roles within the healthcare sector required.
• Experience with a Schedule 1 facility preferred.
• Experience in interdisciplinary team management and with the principles of patient-focused model of care preferred.
